Will this work in my car?

If your vehicle has a factory-installed wired CarPlay unit - Yes! This also applies for vehicles that have wired and wireless CarPlay connections. Vehicles with only wireless CarPlay connection are not supported.

Do I have to sync the adapter every time I use it?

Nope! After you set it up, your phone will pair with it as soon as you start the car, every time.

Does it use WiFi or Bluetooth? I don't have WiFi in my car?

Our adapter has WiFi and Bluetooth hardware. It connects with Bluetooth and sends the WiFi credentials to the phone, then disconnects from the Bluetooth network. It works solely on WiFi from that point on

Will it work with my iPhone or Android?

Yes, it works every iPhone from the 6 (running iOS 10) all the way up to the 14 Pro Max. Also works with Samsung galaxy S3 & upwards.

If I have two phones, which will it choose?

You can use either phone, but if you have both in the car, it will connect to the last paired phone.

Does it come with instructions?

As a plug-and-play solution, the Carra is very easy to install.

  1. Turn on the Bluetooth and WiFi networks on your phone.
    2. Make sure your phone is not connected to any other WiFi or Bluetooth networks and remove the hands-free
    connection from your phone and car system settings.
    3. Plug the adapter into the CarPlay USB port.
    4. Wait for the interface to appear on the screen.
    5. Go to your phone's bluetooth devices and find name starting with Carra Pro, tap on it.
    6. Select "Pair" on your phone when the notification appears.
    7. Select Use CarPlay once the notification appears.
How do I update it?
  1. Connect your phone to the adapter and wait until CarPlay appears on the screen.
    2. Enter 192.168.1.101 in your browser and click “Go.”
    3. If you see an update available, click it.
    4. Wait until the update bar reaches 100%.
    5. When CarPlay reappears on the screen, you’re done!
How long does it take for the Ottocast unit connect?

It depends on your phone and car, but it usually takes 7-14 seconds.

Where do you ship from?

We ship from our partnered warehouses & factories located in China.

How long will it take for my items to arrive?

It will usually take 5-10 business days for all orders to arrive. Shipping times vary based on customer location, season and shipping location.

How long will it take to dispatch the order?

It will take usually 3-5 business days. In peak times, it may take up to 9 business days to dispatch.

Do you ship Worldwide?

Where is your company located?

Our company's headquarters are located in the USA, while our warehouses and vendors are scattered across China, USA and Europe.

Which currency will I be charged in?

We process all orders in USD. While the content of the cart is displayed in several currencies, you will checkout using USD at the most current exchange rate.

Will I receive a confirmation number when I place my order?

Yes, all customers will receive an order number after placing their orders. Please contact us if you don't receive one within 24 hours.
