Instructions
Follow the installation guide included in the Ottocast P3 Kit, it'll take about 2-3 minutes to setup.
1. Remove the DM ™ Magic CarPlay AI Box from the kit.
2. Connect via USB included.
3. Use the quick setup guide on your cars' display screen.
*If you do not have touch screen in your vehicle, we recommend buying a remote for easier navigation
Shipping & Returns
Orders placed before 10am PST will ship the same day and once shipped, average delivery is 3-5 business days. All other orders will ship the following day besides Saturday or Sunday.
*International orders vary based on the shipping carrier selected at checkout.
Orders can be returned within 30 days from the date your order is fulfilled. To qualify for a refund, returned items must be in their original condition with no evidence of wear and tear. All components included in the original order must also be returned.
Orders can be exchanged or returned for store credit within 60 days from the date your order is delivered. To qualify for an exchange, returned items must be in their original working condition with no evidence of wear-and-tear and purchased on the Ottocast.store website. All accessories included in the original order must also be returned.
Is it compatible with my car ?
*Car TV Mate will work with 99% of vehicles equipped with wired CarPlay including aftermarket head units from Alpine, Kenwood, and Pioneer.
*These vehicles are not compatible:
- BMW
Tips:The adapter's USB port is designed for firmware updates and should not be used to power HDMI devices to avoid inadequate power supply issues.

Connect The DM ™ Magic CarPlay AI Box to your car's CarPlay/Android Auto-enabled USB/Typec port, using the provided cable.
Step.2
Select your preferred WIFI source, e.g. mobile hotspot. This is only necessary when setting up for the first time.

Download your favorite apps from the app store or use our pre-downloaded apps to start streaming!

Do I need any additional apps to make it work?
Nope, we've pre-installed the most popular streaming apps to the box for you. The Google Play store is accessible from the box to download any app if you wish.
Will this work on aftermarket CarPlay devices?
Yes, aftermarket head units from Alpine, Kenwood, and Pioneer are supported.
Does it play videos while the vehicle is in motion?
Yes, it'll work while in motion, but for safety and legal reasons you should only use The OttoAibox P3 while the vehicle is parked in a safe location. (Please check your local before using).
Will it work on iPhone & Android?
Yes, our OttoAibox P3 product works great with both iPhone & Android. We simply use the CarPlay channel to allow our device to function so even if you have an Android phone, you'll still click into CarPlay from your display screen.
How to watch Netflix from Apple CarPlay?
Simply download the Netflix app within the Google Play Store within the OttoAibox P3 device. Log into your account and start streaming your favorite shows.
How to play videos on CarPlay?
Turn your cars display screen into a smart TV using The OttoAibox P3. Simply plug the OttoAibox P3 into your car's USB port and the regular CarPlay or Android Auto screen will be replaced with ours. Download any app and start streaming with The OttoAibox P3.
